Understand what data Bitnami collects from deployed Bitnami stacks

Bitnami Multi-Tier Solutions include a small agent that starts on boot and collects a few pieces of information about the system. For users of Bitnami Multi-Tier Solutions, we may also collect information from downloaded, pulled or deployed images or instances, such as the instance type, IP address and operating system version or the Bitnami account used to launch the image in order to improve our product offerings.

We encourage you to leave this tracking on, but if you would like to turn it off, you can comment out or delete the following line in the bitnami user’s crontab file:
