Connect to Redis from a different machine
IMPORTANT: Bitnami Native Installers do not modify the firewall configuration of your computer, therefore the Pootle ports could be open which is a significant security risk. You are strongly advised to close the Pootle ports (refer to the FAQ for more information on this).
Once you have an active SSH tunnel or if you did not close the port for remote access, you can then connect to Redis using a command like the one below. Replace the YOURPASSWORD placeholder with the value of your password:
$ redis-cli -h localhost -a YOURPASSWORD
