Access a JRuby server application

For security reasons, JRuby server applications are accessible only when using as the hostname. To access the application, it is necessary to create an SSH tunnel by forwarding port 3000 on the JRuby server to port 3000 on the local host.

Refer to the FAQ for platform-specific instructions to create the SSH tunnel. An example of configuring the SSH tunnel using PuTTY on Windows is displayed below.
