Launch T2, C4 or M4 instances
T2, C4 and M4 instances can only be launched in an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). A default VPC is usually configured for an AWS account when it is first created, but some older AWS accounts may not have this default VPC. You can read more about this in the AWS documentation. For these old accounts, it is not possible to launch T2, C4 or M4 instances using Bitnami Cloud Hosting. If your Amazon account already includes support for a default VPC, you will see the T2 instances selected by default in the server creation page.
If your Amazon account doesn’t have a default VPC configured, we recommend that you create a new AWS account and associate it with your Bitnami Cloud Hosting account using the “Clouds -> New” menu. You can find more information about how to create a new AWS account and associate it with your Bitnami Cloud Hosting account at our Getting Started guide.
