Bitnami Cloud Hosting images come with several Bitnami components installed by default (the “base stack”). This base stack is located in the /opt/bitnami directory and includes the components listed below.

To launch a server in Bitnami Cloud Hosting that includes the LAMP, Ruby, Java, Python and Node.js stack components listed, simply launch a new server without adding any applications to it.

NOTE: Red Hat and Amazon Linux images do not include Bitnami components. These images use the Red Hat and Amazon Linux native stacks, sourced from RedHat or Amazon Linux repositories, and install Bitnami web applications on top of them. This allows you to use operating system tools to keep stack components up to date and enables you to maintain consistency across environments.
