Work with sample DAGs

In Airflow, a DAG is a collection of all the tasks you want to run, organized in a way that reflects their relationships and dependencies.

The default DAGs directory is located at /opt/bitnami/airflow/dags. This directory is a shared filesystem accessible by all the instances of the deployment and is used to synchronize tasks.

Apache Airflow Sample DAGs

Apache Airflow includes several sample DAGs. Copy them from the /opt/bitnami/airflow/venv/lib/python3.6/site-packages/airflow/example_dags/ directory or download them from the official GitHub repository.

The only requirement is to make them available in the default folder for DAGS at /opt/bitnami/airflow/dags. After a few minutes, the Apache Airflow scheduler will automatically detect them and make them available in the Apache Airflow dashboard, from where they can be enabled.
