awsmautic

Upgrade Mautic

It is strongly recommended to create a backup before starting the update process. If you have important data, create and restore a backup to ensure that everything works properly.

IMPORTANT: If you are upgrading from earlier than 2.6.0 you should download the update script to the root of your Mautic installation and run it with the following command:

$ sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "/opt/bitnami/php/bin/php /opt/bitnami/apps/mautic/htdocs/upgrade.php"

If you are upgrading from 2.6.0 or newer version, you can update the application only without modifying any other stack components, either using the browser or the command line.

  • Upgrade Mautic from the browser:

If there is an update, Mautic will show you a banner on the “Dashboard” page. Click it and follow the instructions.

  • Upgrade Mautic from the command line:

Run these commands:

     $ rm -R /opt/bitnami/apps/mautic/cache/prod/*
     $ sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "/opt/bitnami/php/bin/php /opt/bitnami/apps/mautic/htdocs/app/console mautic:update:find -e prod"
     $ sudo su daemon -s /bin/bash -c "/opt/bitnami/php/bin/php /opt/bitnami/apps/mautic/htdocs/app/console mautic:update:apply -e prod"

NOTE: If you find any issues when upgrading Mautic, please read the following post: Uh Oh, Mautic upgrade was not successful.
